To help you stay current on your health and welfare benefits, we’ve gathered a few important reminders for the end of 2025 and the start of 2026. As you prepare for the new year, these updates can help you ensure your benefits remain aligned to your needs. |
2026 Benefit Reminders:
- FSA Reimbursement: Use your 2025 health care and dependent care FSA dollars by December 31, 2025, before they expire. Submit all reimbursement claims by March 15, 2026.
- UHC Fitness Reimbursement Deadline: Submit all 2025 fitness reimbursement requests to UnitedHealthcare by January 31, 2026.
- Beneficiary Designation: Review and update your beneficiary designations with each appropriate vendor:
- iVerifyPro: Employees who added dependents during Open Enrollment will receive a verification notice around January 10. Please respond promptly to ensure continued dependent coverage.
- 401(k) Contribution Limits for 2026: Review your 2026 contribution levels for the Gates Matchmaker 401(k) plan. The IRS limits for 2026 are:
- Employee contribution: $24,500
- Catch-up contribution (age 50+): $8,000
- Catch-up contribution (age 60-63): $11,250
