HEALTH BENEFITS – OCTOBER NEWSLETTER

BENEFITS TO SUPPORT YOUR FUTURE PLANNING

October is Enrollment Planning Month:

Open Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to review, update, and make changes to your benefits. Whether you’re enrolling in medical, dental, or vision coverage, adding dependents, or exploring new voluntary benefits, now is the time to ensure your choices align with your needs for 2026.

2026 Annual Open Enrollment Notices:

  • Dates: November 3 – 17, 2025. Changes take effect January 1, 2026.

  • Passive Open Enrollment: As in past years, annual open enrollment will be passive. You are not required to make any changes, and your 2025 elections will automatically carry over unless you update them. However, you must re-enroll in your Flexible Spending Account(s), and if you have an HSA, it’s a good idea to review your contribution amounts to ensure your elections align with your 2026 needs.

  • New in 2026: Amaze Health – A 24/7 virtual care platform that supports your well-being by lowering healthcare costs and making access to quality care more convenient.
    Services include:
    • 24/7 Virtual Primary Care & Urgent Care – Licensed doctors and prescriptions anytime. Virtual Primary Care allows you to complete your annual wellness visit online.
    • Mental Health Support – Unlimited therapy, coaching, and counseling.
    • Chronic Condition Management – Ongoing support for diabetes, musculoskeletal, and other health needs.
    • Second Opinions – Expert guidance for important medical decisions.
    • Health and Wellness Coaching – Tailored nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle guidance.
    • Billing Support – Help understanding medical bills and finding in-network providers.
  • Service Changes: Twin Health, Naviguard, 2nd MD, and Magellan will end on December 31, 2025. Amaze Health will replace these services and will serve as our new Employee Assistance Program.

The Gates Benefits Team will host four live sessions to walk you through your 2026 benefit options, review key dates, and explain what’s new this year. These webinars will highlight important changes, answer your questions, and guide you step-by-step through the enrollment process. Whether you're a returning employee or enrolling for the first time, we encourage you to attend and take full advantage of the resources available.
