Resources and programs will be offered throughout the year, focused on enhancing your life experience – facilitating more “good” in your life.
Our benefits are designed to support you when you need them most. Some of them are paid for in full by Gates and will support you automatically. Others are available for you to choose from to build a benefits package that suits your needs.

EAP/ Personal Resiliency Program - Magellan
  • Balancing the demands of work, home, family, finances, health and wellbeing can be challenging at times. We want to make sure that when issues do arise, you won’t have to face them alone. Our Personal Resiliency Program / EAP, is a confidential service, offering you access to experienced counselors who can help with stress, anxiety, drug and alcohol dependence, grief, loss and more. The program is run by Magellan and paid for by Gates– it won’t cost you anything to use and any calls you make are confidential; no one at Gates will be informed of your call.
  • In any calendar year, a member can participate in up to five (5) sessions (of 50 minutes each) for each specific problem or set of problems. If the counselor determines after one or two sessions that a member's problem or condition cannot be resolved with brief counseling, the counselor will assist the member to transition out of the employee assistance program to a provider who is appropriate for his or her condition. At that point, no further sessions are available to that member, except in connection with the transition to another provider.

Fitness Membership Reimbursement Program
  • Fitness Membership Reimbursement Program
  • Employees Enrolled in a Gates medical plan are eligible for reimbursement of eligible fitness membership fees up to $200 per year maximum for any combination of eligible expenses outlined below:
    • Gym or fitness center membership fees
      • Must provide documentation from the gym/facility proving employee attended/used the facility at least 10 times a month
      • Annual amount will be prorated to exclude any month(s) with less than 10 times usage
    • P90X membership

    • Peloton memberships including the following:
      • Monthly subscription to services attached to Peloton equipment
      • Monthly subscription to Peloton virtual programs not associated with Peloton equipment
  • Please note, for 2021 reimbursement from this program is employees only. Submit your request for reimbursement using the current UHC reimbursement form and process. Note: This incentive is considered taxable income per IRS regulations and taxes (25%+, depending on state) will be deducted from pay following receipt of reimbursement from UnitedHealthcare.

ClassPass Program
  • All Gates employees are eligible to register with ClassPass, and Gates will cover the cost of the monthly fee for the unlimited live classes and online app features. Our partnership also provides reduced rates should you wish to participate in some of the other features of the program. These classes include pre-recorded classes, live streamed classes, and in-studio classes. For more information. Click here

The Healthy Pregnancy Program
  • Expecting mothers can take advantage of a free maternity education, resources and 24 hour access to maternity nurses through UnitedHealthcare. 
  • When expecting mothers enroll by their 16th week of pregnancy and complete the program, they are eligible for a $450 payroll contribution.
